A special dress designed by Aisling Owens, winner of the 2007 Young Designer competition was commissioned to mark the involvement of print sponsor Irish Independent Day & Night supplement in providing advertising support for the 2008 show.

 The dress was worn by vetinerary student Jane Alexander on stage during the award presentations and was a fantastic piece which incorporated a huge amount of work all made ourt of copies of the Day & Night supplement. 

 Thanks to Aisling for another stunning creation and for delaying her move to London to take it on!
